Bill Showalter – CEO, Young’s Seafood Limited
Bill Showalter has over 28 years’ experience of working in the seafood and food industries, FMCG, leisure and hospitality in senior leadership roles.
Bill joined Young’s Seafood’s then parent company, Findus Group, as CFO in 2013 and was appointed CEO of Young’s Seafood International Holdings in January 2016.
He then took the role of interim Chief Executive of Young’s Seafood Limited, a £500m revenue organization, in July 2016 and in January 2017, he was appointed as ongoing Chief Executive.
Since his appointment as interim Chief Executive at the company, Young’s Gastro range has achieved the biggest increase of any brand in frozen food’s five subcategories according to industry analysis from the Grocer magazine.
Prior to working in the seafood industry, Bill worked for HJ Heinz for 18 years as European CFO, with significant European operational experience, and he worked for Starwood Hotels for 8 years as CFO EAME.

Per Even Hauge, Director, DNB Markets
Mr. Hauge joined DNB Markets Investment Banking in 2002 and is currently Head of Seafood Coverage. He has gained substantial experience with Mergers and Acquisitions and Equity Capital Markets related transactions within the global seafood sector. Mr. Hauge holds a Master of Fishery Science degree from the Norwegian College of Fishery Science/University of Tromsø and a degree from Suffolk University Madrid Campus.

Dag Sletmo, Senior Corporate Analyst, DNB
Mr. Sletmo previously served as Head of Investor Relations at Cermaq, Seafood Analyst and Head of Research at ABG Sundal Collier, and Portfolio Manager and Head of Norwegian Equities at Nordea Investment Management. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York and a degree in Economics and Business Administration (siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics. Mr. Sletmo joined DNB Bank in 2014.

Ricardo García, CEO, Pesquera Camanchaca
Mr. García holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Mr. García is a past Co-Chairman of the Global Salmon Initiative, and former President of the American-Chilean Chamber of Commerce. Before joining Camanchaca, Mr. García served as President of the Latin America and the Caribbean Division of American Life Insurance Company (ALICO/AIG). He has been a teacher in areas of economics and finance at prestigious Chilean universities.

Thue Holm, CTO and Co-founder, Atlantic Sapphire
Thue Holm has been involved in the RAS Farming of Atlantic Salmon since 2004. Thue Holm started working building some of the first large RAS farming smolt systems in the world in Chile employed in Billund Aquaculture. In 2005 he was involved in testing the grow out in large RAS systems on salt water in one of these systems. Based on this experience the first landbased grow-out salmon concepts was developed.
2010 Thue Holm joined forces with Johan Emil Andreassen and Bjørn-vegar Løvik formed Atlantic Sapphire - The first commercial RAS landbased salmon farming company.

Alexey Mashchenkov, CFO, LLC Russian Fishery
Mr. Mashchenkov is an experienced finance executive who previously served as CFO of Brunswick Rail and Russian Standard Group. He also worked as Country Manager at Alpcot Capital Management, an emerging markets focused asset management firm.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD and graduated from St Petersburg State University.

Steven Chambers, Senior Analyst, Anavon Capital
Mr. Chambers joined Anavon Capital in 2014 and employs the firm’s operationally intensive research approach to identify investment opportunities across a range of sectors; he specialises in industry segments that are related to the consumer. Aquaculture has been an investment theme across his career and salmon farming constitutes an important and long-term exposure for Anavon. Prior to joining Anavon, Chambers was the Consumer Analyst at Pensato Capital for 5 years.

Einar Wathne, President of Aqua Nutrition, Cargill
Einar is the president of Cargill Aqua Nutrition. He has 29 years experience at EWOS, now Cargill, including leadership roles in Research & Development, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management.

Helge Moen, CEO, Kverva
Helge Moen holds a MSc in Economics and Finance from Warwick Business School. Mr. Moen held various positions in investment banking, though focusing on the marine sector, for many years before joining Kverva. He has been the managing director in Kverva for the last seven years.

Sjur Malm, CFO, Lerøy Seafood Group
Mr. Malm graduated with a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and he has also completed a Graduate Programme in Economics and Business Administration at the same school. Sjur Malm was appointed as the CFO of Lerøy Seafood Group ASA 1 October 2012. Malm joined the company from a position as Analyst for SEB Enskilda, where he was employed since 2004. Since 2007, Malm has worked as an Analyst within the Fishing and Industry sector for SEB Enskilda, and has several times been named best analyst in Norway within those sectors in which he has been involved.

Ole-Eirik Lerøy, Chairman of the Board, Marine Harvest Group
Mr. Lerøy is educated at the Norwegian School of Management 1980-84, and completed the AFF Management program in 1992. Mr. Lerøy has broad experience in the seafood industry; He is the former CEO of Lerøy Seafood Group ASA 1991-2008, former Chairman of the Norwegian Seafood Federation (SjømatNorge) and former Chairman of the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC). Mr. Lerøy has been Chairman of the Board of Marine Harvest since 2010. He is also Chairman of Bergen Chamber of Commerce and Industry and member of the board of the International Groundfish Forum.

Charles Høstlund, CEO, Norway Royal Salmon
Mr. Høstlund has been the Chief Executive Officer of Norway Royal Salmon AS since 2014. Mr. Høstlund served as Regional Director of Marine Harvest Norway Northern Region. He joined Norway Royal Salmon in September 2014. Mr. Høstlund has a Master’s degree in Fish Health from the Norwegian College of Fishery Science and an MBA in Financial Control and Management from the Norwegian School of Economics.

Andreas Kvame, CEO, Grieg Seafood
Mr. Kvame became CEO of Grieg Seafood in June 2015. He previously served as CEO of Scanbio Marine Group AS. Mr. Kvame has a 17 year long professional background from Marine Harvest Group where he participated in the top management team for many years, with responsibilities for sales, logistics, processing and integration. He has worked with change management and improvements in an international capacity in the aquaculture industry spanning many companies, including the integration of Stolt Seafarms, Panfish, Fjord Seafood and Marine Harvest Group. He has an educational background in agriculture and aquaculture management.

Andrew Mallison, Director General, IFFO
Prior to joining IFFO in 2011, Andrew was previously Director, Standards and Licencing at the Marine Stewardship Council, Global Seafood Sourcing Manager for British retailer Marks and Spencer and advisor to government ministers. Andrew has a degree in Fisheries Science (Plymouth) and has been voted in the top 100 Most Influential Seafood Executives (Intrafish 2012), top 40 UK Food Heroes (Telegraph Magazine 2008) and Global Seafood Champion (Seafood Choices Alliance 2006).

Gunnar Nielsen, CFO, Bakkafrost
Gunnar Nielsen has been Chief Financial Officer of Bakkafrost since 2014. Mr. Nielsen has experience in the finance sector. Mr. Nielsen has held positions as corporate finance advisor and auditor. Before joining Bakkafrost, Mr. Nielsen held different positions at the TF Group, including being advisor and CEO in TF Íløgur

Alexander Aukner, Equity Research Analyst, DNB Markets
Mr. Aukner previously served as Equity Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Explora Capital Management for the European Small and Mid Cap Fund Plc - a long/short equity hedge fund. He holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Western Sydney and an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney. Mr. Aukner joined DNB Markets in 2013.

Pål Korneliussen, Publisher of IntraFish Media, has led the company for over 10 years. Before venturing into media Mr. Korneliussen worked in seafood (Lerøy Seafood, Kolnor Trading) and as a Management Consultant in the fish farming industry. Korneliussen holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration.

Drew Cherry, Editorial Director, IntraFish Media
Drew Cherry is the Editorial Director of IntraFish Media, the world's largest seafood news and information provider. Cherry was born and raised in Alaska, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Davis, and a Master’s in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California.
