ALF-HELGE AARSKOG, CEO, Marine Harvest
Mr. Aarskog has served as CEO of Marine Harvest since 2010. Prior to this position, he was the CEO (2009 to 2010) and Exective Vice President (2007 to 2009) at Lerøy Seafood Group ASA. His previous positions include Managing Director (2004 to 2007) of Lerøy Midnor AS, a subsidiary of Lerøy Seafood Group ASA, and Head of Production (2002 to 2004) at Fjord Seafood ASA, a company that was later merged with ours. He holds a degree in Fish Nutrition from the University of Agriculture in Norway.

BRITT KATHERINE DRIVENES, CFO, , Austevoll Seafood
Britt Kathrine Drivenes started in Austevoll Seafood ASA in 1991 and has been the CFO since 1996. Mrs. Drivenes holds a Master of Strategy and Management and Bachelor of Business administration. She has a wide experience in the fish harvesting, fish processing and fish farming market.

Chris Ninnes, CEO Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC)
Chris Ninnes was appointed CEO of the Aquaculture Stewardship Council ( ASC) in October 2011. He continues to hold that appointment. Before joining the ASC Chris was Deputy CEO and Director of Operations at the Marine Stewardship Council from 2006 to 2011. He has extensive experience of using certification as a means of driving change towards a more sustainable future both from directing and leading the expansion of the MSC’s technical and commercial work in particular and also as a Board Member of ISEAL.
Prior to joining the MSC Chris was Senior Vice President of MRAG Americas, a successful seafood/marine consultancy, from 2003 until 2006. This followed appointment as Technical Director for MRAG Ltd from 1996 until 2002 where he was responsible for the development and management of the company’s core business areas and functions and the development of new business.
Chris also worked for the UK Department for International Development in a variety of countries over the period 1983 to 2002. He advised on seafood industry development issues in Africa and the Caribbean, something he was well qualified to do having been both a professional inshore fisherman and the possessor of relevant academic qualifications from the Universities of Exeter, Humberside and Newcastle in the UK.

DIOGO THOMAZ, co-founder and CEO, Aquanetix Ltd.
Diogo Thomaz started the Aquanetix company with partner Dr. Stella Adamidou in 2013. With as MSc and a PhD in fish genetics from the Univ. of Leicester in the UK he worked as R&D project manager for Selonda Aquaculture in Greece, responsible for setting up and implementing the company’s selective breeding program. Then, as a management consultant for the aquaculture industry, Diogo focused much of his efforts on nutrition and on improving feeding management and performance in an industry that is typically labour intensive. Work with a number of feed companies on marketing and sales lead to a clear understanding of the problems and solutions for the key determinants of success in this industry. He holds an MBA from the ALBA Graduate Business School in Athens.

DREW CHERRY, Editorial Director, IntraFish Media
Drew Cherry is the Editorial Director of IntraFish Media, the world's largest seafood news and information provider. Cherry was born and raised in Alaska, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Davis, and a Master’s in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California

HALVOR MEYER HORTEN, Senior Associate, Bain Capital
Mr. Meyer Horten joined Bain Capital in 2010 and co-leads the firm's investment activity in the Nordic region. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Meyer Horten was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Meyer Horten received a MSC from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).

HENNING BELTESTAD, CEO, Leroy Seafood Group ASA
Mr. Henning Beltestad has been the Chief Executive Officer of Lerøy Seafood Group Asa since March 2010 and has been Member of Group Management Team since 2008. Mr. Beltestad has worked 20 years in Leroy and has been Managing Director of the sales and marketing company Hallvard Lerøy AS. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Norwegian School of Management. 

JOHN A. BREIVIK, CEO, Stingray Marine Solutions
John A. Breivik is CEO of Stingray Marine Solutions. Breivik is an entrepreneur for more than two decades and his background and experience comes from various industries like ship building, financial -and investments companies, engineering and medical/nutraceutical companies. He got his education from University of Derby, Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and Norwegian Business School (BI) in venture business, finance and international management.

JON HINDAR, CEO, Cermaq
Jon Hindar took up the position as CEO of Cermaq in March 2012. Mr. Hindar holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and has supplementary management education at IMD from Lausanne, Switzerland. He was previously the CEO of Norsun AS, Senior Vice President of Invitrogen Corp., CEO of Dynal Biotech ASA, and Partner and Managing Director of Fondsfinans ASA. Jon Hindar is on the board of amongst others Photocure ASA and Scatec Solar. Hindar holds 6200 shares in Cermaq ASA.

KNUT NESSE, CEO, Nutreco
Knut Nesse has been with Skretting and Nutreco for almost 20 years. During this period Nesse held various leading international positions in the company located in Norway and Chile. In 2009 Knut Nesse was appointed Chief Operations Officer Nutreco Aquaculture after originally being appointed head of Global Salmon Feed in 2006. In 2012 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Nutreco, located in the Netherlands. For a 2 year period from 1997 he worked for the Scana group as Finance Director of their Joint Venture in China.

Knut Nesse has an MBA degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, where he subsequently also attended the senior management program.

MIKE VELINGS, Founder & Managing Partner, Aqua-Spark
Mike is the founder and the driving force behind Aqua-Spark, a global investment fund for sustainable aquaculture, combining a healthy financial profit with environmental and social impact. A lifelong entrepreneur, Mike has spent decades jumpstarting a range of successful businesses. Among other ventures, he co-founded Connexie, which has helped catalyze a professional employment industry across the Netherlands. Mike naturally combines his business background with environmental and social engagement. He understands the potential for business to create durable solutions to complex world problems. With this in mind, Mike founded A-Spark: an investment company that assists entrepreneurs across the globe in realizing their visions of a start-up with a world-changing element. Through A-Spark he has invested in a broad range of ventures over the years– both in the developed and developing world. Mike serves on several boards and is also a member of the Chairman’s Council of Conservation International and an Honorary Global Marine Fellow.

REGIN JACOBSEN, CEO, Bakkafrost
Mr. Jacobsen (born 1966) has been the CEO of Bakkafrost since 1989.  Mr. Jacobsen is educated at Aarhus School of Business, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Accounting (HD-R). From 1982 to 1988, Mr. Jacobsen was accounting manager of the former P/f Bakkafrost, and from 1988 until 2006, he held the position of Managing Director of the former P/f Bakkafrost.

SEBASTIAN EISELER, Vice President, Oaktree Capital Management
Sebastian Eiseler is a Vice President at Oaktee Capital Management and works in the European Private Equity strategy since 2007. Mr Eiseler studied at the University of Cologne, at HEC in Paris and received an M.B.A. from Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Previously, he worked for Lazard in London and Frankfurt. Mr Eiseler is on the board of amongst others Solvtrans AS, a globally leading wellboat company based in Norway and Railpool, one of Europe’s leading locomotive lessors based in Germany.

PATRICK MARTIN, CEO, Ocean Harvest Technology
Patrick Martin is the CEO of Ocean Harvest Technology, which he co- founded with Dr Stefan Kraan in 2005. Patrick has more than 25 years' experience in the food and salmon industry in Europe and North America. He has established a number of successful seafood companies and initiated and developed unique national seafood programs in the USA/Europe over the last 25 years, working closely with leading natural and organic retailers, prominent hotel groups and Chefs across the USA and Europe. After 8 years of R&D, Ocean Harvest Technology (OHT) are now commercializing their proprietary OceanFeed ingredient formulas for the aquaculture and animal feed industry. OHT have production, administration and science centers in Ireland, Vietnam, Malaysia and Canada.

PÅL KORNELIUSSEN, Publisher, IntraFish Media
Pål Korneliussen, Publisher of IntraFish Media, has led the company for over 10 years. Before venturing into media Mr. Korneliussen worked in seafood (Lerøy Seafood, Kolnor Trading) and as a management consultant in the fish farming industry. Korneliussen holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration.
